You can make a lasting impact by supporting the Baylor College of Medicine School of Health Professions Endowed Scholarship Fund. Your gift directly supports aspiring healthcare professionals—students who are committed to excellence, compassion and innovation in allied health.
Donations can also be directed to the Carol Sammet Legacy Fund. Carol was a student in the School of Health Profession's Orthotics and Prosthetics Program. She was a bright light for her classmates, her faculty, and her patients. Her commitment to her chosen profession resulted in her devotion to giving her time and energy in support of others. When Carol passed away from cancer, this fund was set up to continue her legacy of support and generosity. With her family's blessing and generous donations, this fund has helped support 20 School of Health Professions students in financial need over the past two years. The fund offers immediate financial support to students encountering unexpected financial burden during their graduate studies--repayment is not necessary, and students receiving funds are asked to consider donating back to the fund once they are able. Gifts to this fund will help ensure students in need can focus on their studies and their future career in a health profession.
